Summary
In 2025, thanks to your generous support, FOCUS ON THE VULNERABLE (FOV) sponsored one young mother at Christ the King Vocational Training Center in Magwi County - South Sudan. This initiative is part of our goal to train 100 vulnerable youth in South Sudan with marketable skills.
Introduction
Dear GlobalGiving Family,
This is our first official project report, and we are deeply thankful for your belief in our vision. Your contributions are transforming the lives of young people—particularly vulnerable mothers—by providing them with education and tools for self-reliance.
Progress Update
In early 2025, FOV enrolled one child mother into a six-month tailoring and cloth designing program. She is now actively attending classes and is learning how to produce school uniforms, women’s dresses, table cloths, and bedsheets. She is developing skills that can immediately help her earn income.
Impact Story
Meet our beneficiary, a 22-year-old mother of one. Forced to drop out of school due to early motherhood, Vicky believed her dreams had ended. But through this sponsorship, her confidence and joy are returning.
“When I touch the sewing machine, I feel powerful. I now know I can feed my baby with my own hands.”
She has already completed her first blouse and is excited to start a small tailoring business in her community and hand designed bedsheets and table cloths after graduation.
Your donations have made a tangible impact. For this sponsorship:
Meals and training materials: USD 70
Administrative and coordination cost: USD 30
Total: USD 100
These funds covered daily meals, training materials, and the administrative support needed to manage and monitor her progress.
