We hope this note finds you well. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been 9 months since we launched the youth entrepreneurship fund to train 100 Thai youth at risk of human trafficking. Since then we have been able to provide training in animal husbandry, agriculture, making and selling handicrafts. Things continue to go well for the first recipient of funds - a talented young artist who is still happily learning to create and sell his art with the assistance from teachers and mentors in the local artists community. He is learning how to do the most with the money he received from the entrepreneurship fund. Thank you for making this possible with your generous contributions to his future!
We are very excited to be so close to our goal of raising $15,000 to complete the youth entrepreneurship fund, which will help us to identify and train many more youth at risk of human trafficking. We only have $3,846 left to raise and in three months, students from American University will be visiting the project to volunteer and meet the promising entrepreneurs who will undoubtedly benefit from their enthusiasm and skills.
We will be sure to keep you updated as this life changing endeavor progresses. Thank you for doing your part to prevent human trafficking by providing such practical support to so many youth at risk of the worst forms of exploitation in Thailand. Please feel free to spread the word about the youth entrepreneurship fund and its recipients!
