We have conducted the programme from 5th Feb-2020 to 22nd March 2019 and then present Covid-19 lockdown period since 24th March 2019, we are pausing the program. During the pervious to lockdown, we have trained 32 girls and women in skill and livelihoods training in this program during the report period. 15 risk girls’ families were undergone into intensive counseling. They are under risk and economical compulsion to be engaged in trafficking.
We are now conducting relief, counseling and Covid-19 prevention program in the area. Our special staff are giving counseling from its Training Centres at Vedaranyam and Palani.
However is being, the program is to be started shortly if lockdown is relaxed and expected to be relaxed fully. Your support is enabling the support expense from prevention and rehabilitation. Now they are free from human right issue and sex abuse. you may support this project through spreading among your community.
