The Collinsville Food Pantry is in the process of renovating our new building. We hope to be moving out of the Church by the end of the month. The Food Pantry manager has been monitoring our inventory, making sure we only order what we need in anticipation for our move. The less we have to move, the better! That brings us to our Tote Me Home program. The program began again for the beginning of the school year. They are constantly ordering food to fill the 200 plus bags a week. The First United Methodists have generously offered their building to house Tote Me Home until we are ready for them to move to the new building! The Ladies Auxiliary are filling the bags and taking them to the 14 area schools for them to distribute every Friday. It has been such a relief to know that the program is being well taken care of. The Collinsville Community has yet again stepped up to assist us. Please continue to support Tote Me Home and the growing need for food security.
