Access to early, continuous, and qualified education remains one of the most important needs for children with autism. For many families in Türkiye, financial barriers make it difficult to sustain the special education support their children need. Through this project, Tohum Autism Foundation continues to help children with autism benefit frm scholarship-supported education and take meaningful steps in their developmental journey.
During this reporting period, the campaign reached USD 850 through the generous support of 11 donors. These contributions help us maintain educational support for children enrolled in our Support Education Unit. Through individualized education programs prepared according to each child's needs, students continue to receive support from trained special education professionals in areas such as communication, social interaction, learning readiness, dailiy living skills, and independence.
With a total goal of USD 50.000 there is still 49.150 needed to expand the reach of this project and provide scholarship-supported education to more children with autism. Each donation helps reduce the financial burden on families and ensures that children can continue receiving structured, evidence-based spcial education without interruption. For children with autism, consistent education is essential; every session supports progress, confidence, and participation in daily life.
As we continue our work in 2026, our goal is not only to support children within our own education unit, but also to strenghthen awareness, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among schools, families, and education stakeholders across Türkiye. By expanding access to information and qualified educational practices, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive education system for children with autism.
