As Tohum Autism Foundation, we reached 682 students, families and teachers in many cities of Turkey with Autism Spectrum Disorder seminars. Seminars last an average of one hour. Seminar participants include teachers, families, university students, healthcare professionals, and non-governmental organization employees.

 

In addition, a total of 211 people were reached through seminars containing methods and techniques based on the Applied Behavior Analysis approach (Problem behaviors and coping strategies reinforcement, activity schedules, communication skills, self-care skills etc.).

 

Tohum Autism Foundation Education Portal is an e-learning portal independent of time and place. It contains comprehensive information on the education of individuals with autism, supported by videos and visuals, theoretical and practical application examples, educational materials and forms. It has been updated with our enriched user-friendly interface so that more autistic individuals can access my education through our education portal. There are 17.186 teachers, university students and parent members.

In addition, a total of 657 people were reached through seminars containing methods and techniques based on the Applied Behavior Analysis approach (Problem behaviors and coping strategies reinforcement, activity schedules, communication skills, self-care skills etc.).

The Tohum Autism Early Diagnosis and Education Foundation, we reached 455 students, families and teachers in many cities of Turkey with Autism Spectrum Disorder seminars. Seminars last an average of one hour. Seminar participants include teachers, families, university students, healthcare professionals, and non-governmental organization employees.

 In addition, a total of 570 people were reached through seminars containing methods and techniques based on the Applied Behavior Analysis approach (Problem behaviors and coping strategies reinforcement, activity schedules, communication skills, self-care skills etc.). Thanks to the workshops that were done with families and teachers about various topics which include Improving Positive Behavioral Support, Distance Learning, Errorless Teaching Methods, Reinforcement, Collaboration With Families.

  • In addition, a total of 488 people were reached through seminars containing methods and techniques based on the Applied Behavior Analysis approach (teaching with discrete trials, reinforcement, activity schedules, communication skills, self-care skills and behavioral problems, etc.).Thanks to the workshops that were done with families and teachers about various topics which include Improving Positive Behavioral Support, Distance Learning, Errorless Teaching Methods, Reinforcement, Collaboration With Families.

The Tohum Autism Foundation has established much of its life in its own 'Continuing Education Unit' to reach teachers, children with autism and their families around Turkey.


  1. We’ve reached 3.526 people including, students, teachers and families with seminars about Autism Awareness
  2. We’ve also conducted seminars about ASD and Communication With Individuals With ASD, Discrete Trial Training, Individuals With Special Need and Disasters, Inclusion, Behavior Problems and Acquisition of Socially Appropriate Behavior. With these seminars, our continuing education department has reached 538 teachers, volunteers and families.

Our goal is to reach more people all around in Turkey so we are looking forward to have more donation for that.
