Thank You for Helping Us Sustain Our Children's Workshops
Since joining GlobalGiving in April 2026, Asociación Civil Manos en Acción has continued its work in Manzanares, Pilar (Buenos Aires, Argentina), where for more than 15 years we have supported over 1,200 children and 200 adults living in situations of poverty and vulnerability.
We recently received our first donation through GlobalGiving, and we want to thank our donor for this valuable contribution. This support is being directed toward sustaining our workshops for children, which include academic support, art, and computer classes, as well as sports workshops in futbol, hockey, and yoga. These activities are fundamental to our daily work: they help children stay motivated in school, build confidence, and develop skills and values such as teamwork and discipline, all within a safe and caring environment.
These workshops run alongside our community dining hall, which provides daily meals to 500 children, and our psycho-emotional support team, which accompanies families in overcoming social and emotional challenges. Together, these programs form an integrated approach to improving the quality of life of the families we work with.
Contributions like this one are essential to ensuring the continuity of our workshops for the children who depend on them. We are grateful to every donor who joins this mission, and we reaffirm our commitment to carrying this work forward in the months ahead.
