Many thanks for your generous donation.
Our project "Sponsor a London Child to Give Sense of Belonging" (25425) on GlobalGiving is fully funded!
All money collected will be going directly to the charity - Friendship Society in January 2017.
Friendship Society/A & V Rhythmic Club will be in position to purchase 30 tracksuits for A & V Rhythmic Club squad gymnasts.
Girls will have a positive experience that will stay with them for years to come.
A & V Rhythmic Gymnasts acquire a set of skills that can be applied in almost anything they will do. Not only will becoming stronger and building stamina increase their confidence, they will learn how to become a team player- helping them to communicate and mix better with children and teachers at school, helping them in academic studies, as they use available time wisely.
Gymnastics teaching children important life lessons: respect for others, self-respect, loyalty to one’s team, responsibility, honesty and commitment.
Children at A & V will also learn self-discipline – a vital skill for any sport and for succeeding in life.
