A & V Rhythmic club are going to purchase 30 tracksuits for children who would otherwise not be able to afford one. It is very important for every child to have a sense of belonging. To be able to wear a club tracksuit gives a child /gymnast the pride and confidence to face anything. The A & V Club mission is to identify and support the new generation of rhythmic gymnasts in London. Children whose families can not afford the track suit deserve the same advantages as their more affluent peers
To bring together young girls from diverse backgrounds and to make them feel included through sport. Children of migrant families living in London, often combines with difficult situations at home and schools, some have absent parents or overwhelmed parents, due to overcrowding in homes or flats. Many also with pressure from social media. There are still too many young girls who feel they don't have access to the opportunities needed to build their self confidence and resilience.
Tracksuits are important items for kids to be identified as members of the club. It engages and motivates young girls to take up sport. Girls learn team-work, responsibilities, respect and understanding towards each other. Daily classes provides stability in kids lives: all combining with psychological support to help make children feel that they belong to a family and gives them the tools they need to be resilient and become positive members of the society.
Nationally accredited A & V Rhythmic Club opens the door to young girls, making a great difference to their lives. The club creates a safe space for girls and increase their self esteem and confidence. For 8 years A & V Rhythmic Club provides professional training for talented gymnasts as well as recreational classes for health and fitness. One of our gymnast is a member of National Espoir team and can be next Olympic medalist. All A & V girls will be positive members of community and society.
