During this period, through our Observatorio Villero, we have made progress with the Time Use Survey. This survey has already been carried out in 71 popular neighborhoods across 14 provinces, making visible the workload sustained by women and dissidents in the territories. Currently, the project is in a growth phase, planning new surveys in 30 additional popular neighborhoods to deepen the scope of the data.
We have promoted an advocacy dynamic so that these results are transformed into tools for social pressure, presenting the data in the media and various civil society spaces. We also brought this analysis before government bodies such as the Legislative Power and management agencies, seeking to have this information serve as a basis for the design of public policies that recognize community care work.
We do not only seek data collection, but rather to generate a real impact that results in salary recognition and rights for those who sustain life in our communities.
