Ethnic minority women in northern Laos are continuing to expand the market for Kaipen, a traditional Lao snack they produce, with support from Wonders International.
Working together with Wonders International’s local staff, the women have established regular supply relationships with 25 business partners across Laos: 17 in Luang Prabang and 8 in Vientiane. Through these partnerships, they are reaching more customers and expanding sales of their products.
As production continues to grow, the women are working with the local team to identify new business partners that can place larger orders. Discussions are underway with potential B2B partners, including major retailers, hotels, and restaurants, to explore supply volumes and delivery terms for recurring orders.
Moving forward, Wonders International will continue to support the women in developing these business relationships into regular supply agreements and securing more stable sales channels. This support will help the women grow their business and build more sustainable livelihoods through Kaipen production.
Your continued support helps these women take the lead in growing their businesses, reaching new markets, and creating sustainable income opportunities.
Warm regards,
Wonders International Team
