Teach for Afghanistan Organization is working relentlessly to provide better learning opportunities to students in Parwan and Nangarhar provinces. With your donations, our 60 fellows can create mathematics and science-based teaching models and laboratory equipment with proper resources and educate 2000 girls and 1000 boys.
A lot of students lose interest in practical subjects like maths and science because they do not understand it clearly. Another big challenge is conventional teaching methods and lack of trained teachers in Afghanistan. Though our fellows- qualified university graduates- try to develop students' interest in STEM subjects, we are facing scarcity of resources to prepare the education models and there is no proper laboratory equipment available.
Our fellows encourage students to develop interest in STEM subjects. It helps students to explore the daunting subjects of math and science in a friendly manner. Students also try to prepare similar models and present in front of class with confidence. We want to prepare good quality education models and laboratory equipment to teach students with your valuable contribution. Our talented fellow, Muzhgan is one such chemistry teacher changing lives of students.
We draw inspiration from Afghanistan's first all-girls Robotics team who have participated and won in many competitions around the world. We want to encourage our students to dream big and excel in STEM fields. Every child has a right to education and Afghanistan will have brilliant scientists making this world a better place.
