Brighten a child's life this festive season

by Tamahar Trust
Brighten a child's life this festive season

This pandemic affected all of us in some way. It did affect us too.

During the pandemic Indian government asked schools to shut down which challenged us on how to support the children with special needs and their families.

Like any other institutions we also planned on having online intervention but the question was how we are going to do it.

Our model of training the mothers and families to engage their children in our interventions was the key element which helped us structure our intervention and we were successfully able to turn the mothers and their families to become hands on interventionists and help these children to achieve the set of goals that we set for these children.

It wasn't easy but as usual through our determination and hardwork and the immense support that parents of these children gave us our interventionists were able to guide the parents on how to tackle the situations and make them do things we were expecting from the children.

over the period of time our strategy paid off and we were able to train the parents and the children to adapt the rehabilitation techniques through which they can overcome the day today challenges that they face during their lifetime.

We are proud about our work and there is lot more to come in.

Come support us to bring in the change in these families' life.

Thank you.

Tamahar is always in the pursuit of ensuring the best intervention is given to the children. While core intervention is extremely important for the development of the child, there is equal focus on auxiliary therapies as well as other recreational activities. Through this, we at Tamahar ensure the holistic development of every child is taken care of.

While our children have a wide range of activities alongside their core intervention and auxiliary therapy programs, we have some programs for the families as well. The mothers have various programs aimed at upskilling, all geared toward making them economically self-reliant and independent. Additionally, we also have mental health services for the mothers and the family.

All this is possible, in large measure, due to the support of noble souls like you who believe in us, the work we do, and so have stood by us, this far. With your continued support, we will be able to work with more children with special needs and their families.

For more details on the ways in which you can continue supporting our work, please check the poster. Your support means a lot to us and gives us the impetus to work on helping more children with special needs and their families. With your regular contribution, we will be able to make more facilities and better equipment available for our children and their mothers.

We at Tamahar Trust have a wide range of programs catering to children with special needs and their families. In order to ensure our children and the mothers get the best experiences and exposure, we need to constantly work towards providing them quality intervention programs, therapy sessions, skill development programs for mothers, and so on.

This is possible only when good folks like you contribute towards making this a reality. The poster lists the multiple ways in which you can help our mothers upskill and take the next steps towards becoming independent and economically self-sufficient and self-reliant. It also mentions ways in which you can fulfil the children's requirements and steer them towards a brighter future.

With your regular contribution, more faclities and better equipment can be made available for our children and the mothers. This will greatly ensure a healthy balance of core therapy, auxiliary therapies, and recreational activities is maintained which will positively impact the functioning of our children's cognitive abilities. The mothers will also be able to become more self-reliant and enhance their confidence levels.
