At SECHILD, we've observed remarkable transformations among our beneficiaries. Through the implementation of comprehensive physiotherapy, occupational therapy, expressive therapy, and speech therapy sessions, sixteen resident children have achieved significant progress in their overall well-being and developmental milestones.
Meet Tersoo, a prime example of the positive outcomes of our efforts. Recently enrolled in the Ubec School for the Deaf, Tersoo expresses gratitude for the opportunity to receive therapy and education that will enable him to pursue his aspirations. Having been under SECHILD's care since the age of one, Tersoo has flourished and acquired sign language skills. Tersoo's accomplishments extend beyond academics; he actively participates in cultural and sports programs, honing his leadership abilities and fostering meaningful relationships.
Through the expansion of our outpatient care services, we aim to extend our reach to more children in need. By providing dedicated physiotherapy sessions and nutritious meals, children like Jolene, who previously suffered from malnutrition due to neglect, have experienced significant improvements.
These successes underscore the importance of our ongoing efforts to deliver comprehensive care to children with special needs, ultimately leaving a lasting impact on their lives and the lives of their families.
