**Report: Transforming Lives with Compassion and Care** The Sedoo Initiative for Children with Special Needs-SECHILD)is a beacon of hope, a sanctuary of love for children with Cerebral Palsy and their families. As a not-for-profit, community-driven NGO, SECHILD tirelessly endeavors to provide holistic care and support to these extraordinary children, empowering them to thrive against all odds.

**Impactful Progress:** During the review period, SECHILD Center witnessed remarkable transformations in the lives of its beneficiaries. With 15 resident children and an additional admission, our family grew to encompass 21 children, each receiving specialized physio/occupational and speech therapies. These sessions not only improved mobility but also nurtured the budding abilities of our children. Witnessing a child, once immobile, now sitting with assistance, or another uttering their first words, fills our hearts with boundless joy and gratitude. The reduction in limb stiffness and enhanced muscle flexibility are testaments to the dedication of our staff and the resilience of these incredible children.

**Milestones Achieved:** The journey towards independence is marked by significant milestones, and we are thrilled to share the news of one of our children gaining admission to a UBEC school for the deaf. This achievement not only speaks volumes about their determination but also underscores the transformative power of education in shaping their future.

**Overcoming Challenges with Resilience:** Despite facing financial constraints leading to a brief hiatus in our services, our commitment remained unwavering. Through innovative solutions such as custom chairs and standing frames tailored to each child's unique needs, we ensured continuity in therapeutic interventions, never allowing obstacles to hinder our mission.

**Empowering Parents, Building Communities:** Our dedication extends beyond the children to their families, recognizing them as integral partners in this journey. The convening of the Parent Forum provided a platform for education, empowerment, and mutual support. By equipping parents with the necessary skills and knowledge, we empower them to become effective caregivers, fostering holistic well-being within their families.

**A Unified Commitment to Change:** In November, a pivotal virtual meeting with GlobalGiving staff reaffirmed our collective commitment to advancing the mission of SECHILD. This collaboration serves as a testament to the power of partnership in driving sustainable change and amplifying our impact on a global scale.

**Join Us in Making a Difference:** As we reflect on the strides made and the challenges overcome, we invite you to join us in our journey of compassion and transformation. Your support enables us to continue providing essential services, nurturing the potential of every child and family touched by our mission. Together, we can create a world where every child, regardless of ability, is embraced with love, dignity, and opportunities to flourish. Thank you for your unwavering generosity and belief in the power of humanity to change lives.
