2024 has been a busy & exciting year for Therapet so far. We’ve certified 8 dogs this year and have 4 more in their Apprenticeship Phase. Our dog classes continue to fill up and pave the way for future teams.
Therapet currently has agreements to provide services to the following facilities and their clients, each with unique needs and demographics - all at no charge:
• Beckville ISD R.E.A.D. Program
• Breckenridge Village of Tyler
• Brownsboro ISD R.E.A.D. Program
• Chapel Hill ISD
• Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital
• Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rehabilitation (Encompass Health)
• East Texas Crisis Center (Visitation as a part of their Positive Parenting program)
• Lindale Library R.E.A.D. Program
• Rusk State Hospital
• Skyview Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice
• UT Health Tyler
• UT Health North Campus
• Wayne D. Boshears Center for Exceptional Programs / Jones Elementary School (Tyler I.S.D.)
Therapet is in our 30th year of serving East Texas.
