"Save and start", is a program of social, financial and entrepreneurship education for girls, boys and young people of limited resources between 6 to 18 years of age. EDUCA, through this program, promotes creativity, leadership and entrepreneurship in them through the development of skills that allow them to improve their quality of life and their community.
In Mexico, according to UNICEF data, around 4.7 million children and adolescents are in extreme poverty. In this context it is very important to promote the entrepreneurial spirit in this sector of the population. Through the development of social and entrepreneurship skills, it will allow them to promote changes in the economic, social, educational and cultural reality of their communities.
EDUCA, implements this project in 14 schools in 6 states of Mexico and benefits 3,297 students. They work throughout the school year in their classroom to review the contents, which we divide into 5 formative axes: self-knowledge and self-esteem, children's rights, culture of peace, financial education and entrepreneurship. We have two transversal axes: gender equity and citizenship construction. The professor of the group becomes a guide and helps us to achieve the objetives.
We will educate 3, 530 students that will develop social, participation and entrepreneurial skills. They will develop life skills through a methodology in which they are placed at the center of the teaching and learning process so that they can participate actively in order to transform their knowledge and attitudes and finally behaviors.
