Hello, amazing donors and supporters!
773 Dance Project has made tremendous strides forward in our growth. Over the past couple of months, thanks to your generous donations, among others, we have been able to complete the flooring in our studio, purchase ballet barres and glassless mirrors, and have begun offering our donation-based community classes during the week. We still have many plans and are hosting a free dancewear giveaway to the dance community on the South Side. The next primary task to ensure comfort and safety in our studio is to install new windows, which will provide proper insulation during the cold winter months. The building we reside in is old and cannot accommodate space heaters; therefore, we have to replace the broken windows around the studio and insulate the room.
The space serves as a community hub, where artists from all over the city can rent it at a below-market price and utilize it to further their artistic endeavors. We are partnering with a local youth ensemble to offer them dance classes at a fair rental price, and we plan to host a youth arts camp in the Summer of 2026.
We look forward to the year ahead, serving our community and bringing them together through dance and the arts. 773 Dance Project is grateful and appreciative of everyone who connects with us in any way, whether it is by donating or simply sharing our story. Thank you!
