Typhoon Rai "Odette" wreaks havoc on hundreds of thousands of families and individuals, leaving 147 dead, 18 missing, and 24 injured individuals. **Immediate Needs Food packs & ready-to-eat meals Family Kits (sleeping materials) Shelter Materials Drinking Water Hygiene Kits Medicines & Medical Personnel PPEs (Masks, Alcohols) A-PAD Korea & A-PAD PH are carrying out emergency relief activities on the spot, but we still desperately need help. Please help Philippines
With the massive effect of TY(Rai) Odette, power outages and limited internet connection challenge the data gathering on the affected population. Government risk reduction and management offices in the most affected towns and cities are working double-time to address the needs of the affected population but with the scale and magnitude of the disaster, it might take a while before the government can fully attend to the needs of the affected communities.
Due to the severe typhoon damage, the government cannot proceed with emergency disaster recovery work in all affected areas. The role that we can do is very large in that we can go quickly to the extent that government support cannot reach. There are many victims waiting for our support. We are doing our best to help the victims who are alienated from emergency disaster support. Please help us to provide disaster support to more victims.
Since the damage is so huge, it will take a long time to recover. It should be approached with a long-term disaster area recovery plan, not a temporary support. A-PAD Korea & A-PAD PH are possible to grasp the local situation more accurately than anyone else, and to perform continuous disaster recovery work quickly and efficiently.
