Gearing up for the launch! (March 2014 – May 2014)
The Teacher Foundation is currently in discussion with Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Karnataka to identify teachers and heads from few districts in Karnataka to be trained as we launch.
We identified CISCO's CEED Platform as the synchronous training delivery platform for the project. Cisco has installed the technology platform in 15 districts of Karnataka. This platform will enable us to reach out to all the teachers and heads simultaneously, without losing the quality of training.
We have started designing and modifying training flow and material so that the delivery of training is customized to suit the CEED Platform.
Once we gain permission from the Government of Karnataka, we will commence the training.

Setting the ground ! (Dec 2013 - Feb 2014)

The Teacher Foundation is in the process of receiving funds from various donors for this project. We plan to commence the training programme for teachers and heads of Government Higher Prinary Schools in Northern Karnataka during the month of June - July 2014.
We met the State Project Director - Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan to discuss the project in a few disticts of Karnataka State. We have also initiated the process of collaboration with organisations for technology installation in different locations for training.
Internally, we have commenced the development of training modules for teachers and heads.
We will keep you posted on the programme !
