In the last few months, the Sustainable Culinary School has offered two courses in bread making and pastry making. The classes were co-taught by staff of the Sustainable Culinary School and culinary students from the Federal University of Ceará.
20 students completed the courses – congratulations to them all! One of the graduates is Iramar, who owns her own culinary business. She sells snacks on a bicycle and, very on point, her business is called Food Bike. Being a student of the Sustainable Culinary School has given her a new opportunity for professional development, has taught her new culinary techniques, and has allowed her to further invest in her business. What a success!
Obrigada (thank you) to all of our donors who make the Sustainable Culinary School and the economic self-empowerment of people like Iramar possible.
Sincerely,
Natasha
