Send 40 WWII Vets with college students to an educational center and battlefields near the beaches of Normandy France to preserve their legacy of honor and sacrifice before they pass on.
Every day, more than 1,000 WWII veterans pass on. Many of these veterans have never shared their war experience nor have received closure from the traumatic effects of WWII. Their legacy is dying with them. We want to capture the stories of these brave men & women before it is too late. We have traveled with veterans back to various battle sites in Europe and Asia, & all of the veterans have felt a sense of peace & closure from these trips. We want to continue this before their time disappears.
Legacy at Normandy is a permanent educational center in Normandy France where WWII veterans can share their stories & educate the next generation about duty, honor & sacrifice to cultivate the next generation into discerning and appreciative citizens
Legacy at Normandy will give WWII veterans a chance to pass on their legacy and gain closure from their emotional scars. Consequently, it will create more conscientious future leaders through the unique educational platform at the facility.
