The SuperaTECH program aims to foster interest in robotics, programming, and electronics among children, adolescents and youth, promoting logical thinking and creativity. Through hands-on courses in Educational Robotics (24 hours) for participants aged 7 to 14, Basic Python Programming and Web Design with HTML/CSS (60 hours) for youth aged 15 to 25, and an advanced course in Applied Electronics (100 hours), a total of 300 beneficiaries will be trained. The training sessions will take place at th
According to the ENCOVI survey (2023), youth aged 12 to 24, 25% say they are not currently studying because they find what they learn irrelevant, and 21% report a lack of motivation in the academic environment. These factors exacerbate the digital and socio-educational divide, showing a significant percentage of individuals with limited access to technology and low interest in acquiring new knowledge, a consequence of the country's ongoing economic and social crisis.
Through courses in educational robotics, basic programming, and applied electronics, Superatec aims to encourage 300 children, adolescents, and youth aged 7 to 25 in problem-solving using logical reasoning and learning basic programming techniques. Activities at our Digital Inclusion Centers in Caracas and Miranda include educational games and interactive tools that facilitate intuitive and enjoyable learning, as well as the design and construction of prototypes.
Superatec will train and certify 300 children, adolescents, and young people in Educational Robotics, Programming, and Applied Electronics in Distrito Capital and Miranda, equipping them with competencies in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Humanities (STEAMH). This project aims to shape a new generation ready for the smart cities of the future, while also fostering a commitment to environmental sustainability.
