Arhaus Children's Home Grows into the Arhaus Community School

Thanks to the generosity and long-term commitment of Arhaus and our supporters, what began as the Arhaus Children's Home has grown into something even more impactful for the entire community.

Originally established to provide education and care for a limited number of vulnerable children, the program has now expanded into the Arhaus Community School, opening its doors to children from surrounding villages and making quality education accessible to many more families.

Today, the school provides free, quality education to more than 150 children, regardless of their background or financial situation. This expansion means that Arhaus's support is no longer benefiting only the children living in our care—it is now creating opportunities for local families by ensuring their children have access to quality education close to home.

The Arhaus Community School has become a place where children can learn, grow, and dream of a brighter future in a safe and nurturing environment. By reducing the financial burden on families and improving access to education in this remote Himalayan region, the project is helping strengthen the entire community.

While we are proud of how far we have come, our work is not yet complete. Construction of the new school building is still underway, and we continue to need support to complete the remaining work. Once the project is fully finished, the Arhaus Community School will have the capacity to provide free quality education to more than 300 children every year, creating an even greater impact across the region.
