We are delighted to report on our acivities from this year. We are, as always, grateful for the generous outpouring of support that has allowed these to happen!
In our last report, we shared the exciting news that the production of Punch, written by Olivier Award-winning writer James Graham and Directed by Adam Penford, was transferring to the Apollo Theatre on London's West End. Adapted for stage from the memoir Right from Wrong, written by storyteller Jacob Dunne, the play is on show through to the 29th of November, coinciding with its run on Broadway in New York City.
We were honoured to be contracted by KPPL Productions to produce a series of nine post-show conversations for the show. Our After the Punch series followed performances of the play every Tuesday evening, for which we were joined by a range of experts, speakers, frontline workers and people with lived experience - all of who discussed the themes of the play.
Speakers included the likes of actor Michael Palin, eminent Forensic Psychotherapist Dr. Gwen Adshead, and Entrepreneur, Author and Social Commentator Dr. Kenny Imafidon MBE. These conversations were also co-hosted by a range of Charity Partners from across the social justice and education sectors, on topics including “The Process of Restorative Justice”, “What Makes a Man?” and “The Story Behind Punch”.
We also reported on our plans to deliver our new, interactive grassroots model, the Forgiveness Cafe, to communities across the country. Our Cafe has been running as an online gathering since the beginning of the year, and we were delighted to receive fudning from the Westway Trust to introduce this resource to a group of 40 women in the Grenfell and North Kensington neighbourhood. Similarly, to mark their annual Festival of Social Sciences, we collaborated with Dr. Owen Abbott of Cardiff University to deliver the Cafe in situ. Owen is a lecturer in sociology, with an interest in the social impact of forgiveness, and so we had a clear compatibility with his work. Storytellers Siobhan Jackson and Lis Cashin also led in co-facilitation. Aside from this, we were joined by storyteller Angela Findlay in Stroud for a Cafe gathering at the St Lawrence Church for Peace and Arts that focused on forgiveness as it relates to loss and grief. Each of these in-person gatherings have been a joy to host, and we are looking forward to continuing with this intitiative in the new year.
We are incredibly excited to see what 2026 brings for us. We thank you again for your continued interest and support of our work.
