Dear Friends,

We are delighted to report on the F Word’s continued success around the world!

In September, the USA version of the exhibition travelled to Winnipeg, Canada, to visit Saint Boniface Cathedral. Hosted in collaboration with Peace Days, the exhibition invited guests to explore perspectives around forgiveness, reconciliation and conflict resolution before visiting the Hindu Society of Manitoba. In observation of the festival of Samvatsar, our North American Exhibit Co-ordinator, Louisa, led a special presentation of the F Word as part of a celebration of the health benefits of forgiveness laughing yoga, food and conversation.
If you are based in North America and are interested in hiring out the F Word for your organisation or community, please take a look at the information listed on our site, or contact Louisa at louisa@theforgivenessproject.com. For hiring information in the UK and elsewhere, please contact Georgia at georgia@theforgivenessproject.com.

Here in the UK this November, Sandra Barefoot, our Programme Development Lead, was invited to speak at KindFest 2023! Sandra spoke in conversation about her experience in the creative arts and facilitation, particularly as Programme Manager for RESTORE and during her research and development of our work on shame, which we have recently also begun piloting in the Nexus unit at HMP Eastwood Park.
Sandra's work can also be seen in our series on self-forgiveness which, as per our previous report, we anticipate the release of within the coming weeks. During this series, Sandra was joined by five members of our storyteller community, who each explored the role of self-forgiveness in their experiences of crime and violence. The release of this work will be announced via our newsletter and social media platforms.

Additionally, in the run up to the holidays, do take a look at our online store for some gift ideas!

Thank you so much for your continued support – we couldn’t do this work without you.

Warmest wishes,

Georgia Gill
