The Henry Ford is committed to continuing to support the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As an independent nonprofit organization and beloved national treasure, The Henry Ford is facing unprecedented financial challenges because of the impact of our 16-week closure and reduced operations. Some of our challenges include: almost two-thirds of our operating budget is earned revenue - admission tickets, memberships, signature and private events, food and retail purchases - nearly all of which was eliminated with our forced closure.
For over 90 years, The Henry Ford has worked to redefine what a museum can and should be. We strive to be a source of inspiration and a force for positive change. We use our unparalleled collections, stories and venues to encourage people of all ages to learn from the past to help shape a better future. Now, as we face one of the most challenging times in our history, we need your help in securing our future.
The Henry Ford provides unique educational experiences based on authentic objects, stories and lives from America's traditions of ingenuity, resourcefulness and innovation. Its purpose is to inspire others to learn from these traditions to help shape a better future.
