Having a bicycle can make education more accessible to those who have to travel several kilometers to get to school.
When we talk about the challenges of studying in rural areas compared to urban areas, this is the kind of challenge we’re referring to.
Just getting a young person into the classroom is half the battle; for those who live far away or in very precarious conditions, simply being able to study is half the battle.
What if we worked together to promote rural education?
We’re relaunching this campaign! It’s not too late to join us. In previous years, we’ve managed to collect bicycles so that about ten young people can get to school more easily.
This year, we want to collect five new bicycles to keep at the school, so that any students who need them can use them to get from home to school.
