Dear friends,
We’re halfway through the year, and we’re happy to share that the six restored bicycles we donated earlier this year are still going strong! The young students from rural areas in Tucumán and Catamarca, Argentina, continue to use them daily to travel to school, saving time, energy, and ensuring they don’t miss out on their education.
For many of the young people we support, public transportation is not an option. Some walk up to 15 kilometers each way to reach their schools. That’s why having a bicycle isn’t just a convenience, it’s a game-changer.
As we celebrated World Bicycle Day on June 3rd, we were reminded just how powerful a simple bike can be. It gives students independence, reduces dropout risks, and helps them stay engaged with their studies.
Now, we're setting a new goal: acquiring 10 more bicycles so that at least 10 additional students can have reliable, safe transportation to school. Every donation will help us bring this goal closer, and every bicycle will bring a young person closer to their future.
We’re deeply thankful to everyone who has already supported this effort. Your generosity is making real change possible. If you'd like to continue being part of this transformation, we invite you to help us expand the impact even further.
Together, let’s keep them moving forward, one pedal at a time.
With gratitude,
The MINKAI Team
