This Thanksgiving, many Greater Tampa Bay families are finally home again after the hurricanes... home to their kitchens, their tables, and the comfort they've been missing. They've returned home due to your generous donations. For many, this Thanksgiving will be the first time since the hurricanes that they'll cook in their own kitchen, share laughter around their own table, and finally feel the peace that comes from being with loved ones at HOME.
After the back-to-back hurricanes, many families across Greater Tampa Bay lost not only their homes, but the sense of comfort and belonging that comes with them. Kitchens were destroyed, dining tables gone, and the simple act of sharing a meal with loved ones was no longer possible. Even though many families have finally returned home, most are still rebuilding, facing financial strain and limited resources as they try to restock their kitchens and recover from months of hardship.
Through your donations, Hurricane Help Florida provides complete turkey dinners-including a turkey, classic sides, and dessert-to families who recently returned to their rebuilt homes after the hurricanes. Each meal kit is locally sourced, packaged with care, and delivered directly to households across Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. By removing the financial burden of a holiday meal, the ThankFULL Project allows families to focus on what truly matters.
ThankFULL Project is more than a holiday meal, it's a step toward lasting recovery and resilience. Each family we serve represents a home restored, a community rebuilt, and a renewed sense of hope for the future. By easing the financial strain on families still recovering, this project helps them redirect limited resources toward essentials like home repairs, utilities, and rebuilding their lives. More importantly, it restores a sense of normalcy, reminding families that they're not forgotten.
