Thailand Emergency Flood Relief

Severe flooding has devastated communities in northern Thailand, leaving many families and students in our programs at heightened risk of trafficking and exploitation. These families, already facing significant challenges, now find themselves without safe shelter, adequate food, and under immense financial strain as they attempt to recover.

Challenge

Typhoon Yagi is causing extensive flooding in northern Thailand, including the provinces of Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. Floods and landslides triggered by heavy rains from the storm have claimed at least four lives in northern Thailand and inundated thousands of homes. Many of the students and their families that we serve have lost everything.

Solution

The Freedom Story team in northern Thailand will provide critical emergency relief to our students and their families -delivering essential supplies and protection to those most vulnerable.

Long-Term Impact

Your support can make a life-changing difference in keeping these children safe and ensuring they have the resources to rebuild their lives and remain protected from traffickers during this critical time.
