Temporary Home for Children in Argentina

In 2025, we made an important shift by renaming Hogar Colibríes to Casa de Abrigo Veo Veo, a name that holds special meaning in Argentina. "Veo Veo" is a traditional children's game where one person looks at something, and another guesses what that is. This game is all about curiosity, observation, and discovery—the very things we want to inspire in the children who stay with us.

The name Casa de Abrigo Veo Veo reflects our vision for these children: just like in the game, we encourage them to discover their own potential and see a brighter future ahead. It symbolizes hope and the idea that, even after hardship, the children in our care have the opportunity to see and build something better for themselves. The change represents not just a new name, but a renewed sense of purpose: to create a space where these children are supported, seen, and empowered to take the first steps toward a positive future.
