By Adriana Barrera Alba | Volunteer of Mensajeros de la Paz
Last Monday we were participating in a day of music and dance with the girls of Hogar. It was a beautiful moment.
Through dance and music they can escape a bit from the painful social reality they are going through, while the workshop workers can identify emotional situations that need containment and accompaniment.
The girls attend these workshops twice a week, in a Community Center of The Program for Family Accompaniment, which Mensajeros de la Paz developed as the only response for promotion of rights in a settlement of non-legalized homes with more than 15,000 inhabitants.
* We can not share photographs of the day because the girls who attended have a complex legal situation that does not allow the release of their images. Thanks for understand.
