TTT is dedicated to helping the community, and in this especially fluid time, TTT is looking for the best way in which it can make a positive impact. Consequently, we have decided to host a virtual food donation fund. Every $1 donated can provide 4 meals for people who are in need of edibles during a time when it's even difficult to buy toilet paper in supermarkets. We would ideally like to raise only $500! With coronavirus, more and more people are being forced to stay away from work. In addition, others have decreased pay or even a lack of a job due to the decline that many businesses are facing. Furthermore, supermarkets and grocery stores are running low on suppliers, leaving many without food. In addition, with schools closed, many children will not have access to a school lunch, which is sometimes their only meal for the day. This project intends to get people to start thinking about how they can make an impact on the COVID-19 crisis. Any help they offer will help the crisis end faster, and this is a great way to show them how easy it is. One small push is typically what it takes to get people to think about doing something positive and this is the way to contribute to the pandemic.
We can educate people on what to expect from the crisis and what they can do to alleviate the stress faster. Furthermore, this can also convince many people to begin regularly donating or volunteering at local food banks if we show them how easy it is to help.
