Friends, Donors, Supporters, Partners We Salut !
Last time you heard from us, we were in the final stages of establishing our teenage mothers groups in new communities, recruiting local volunteers and running regular community workshop.
Thanks to your generosity we have been able to reach even more communities and teens with the benefit of building capacities for social and economic change. We have got more teens than ever especially in the Bolifamba community, and we are supporting a number of teens entirely with Mutual Health insurance coverage with funds you have donated.
Today, we are finalizing the preparation for the opening of the Teenage Mothers’ Institute in Cameroon; Location-Buea, Bonduma Village, South West Region- Come October 2013, while continuing our regular community teen’s capacity building trainings.
We are delighted to have received financial support from the Girl Effect Fund, without which the establishment of Teenage Mothers Institute and teens trainings this year would have been a dream.
We thank all who donated to the Girl Effect Fund, Global Giving technical team, administration, partners and all; your contribution and services count in all our achievements. Dedicated to supporting the families of the poor teenage mothers in marginalized communities we are serving.
With the support of the American Embassy in Yaounde, Cameroon we were able to get a peace corps volunteer - Chris Michail seconded to our Teen Mothers project to give a helping hand on our community outreachs.
This past saturday July 27, 2013; 53 teen mothers from Muea and Bolifamba teen groups gathered at the Bolifamba Health Centre Hall for their regular last saturday of the month whole day training session ( From 10:00AM to 17:00PM); coordinated by Nzue Maxentius Eseh.
