TEEI will provide 50 workshops to children, parents, teachers, and nurses with tools to prevent, detect, & report abuse. -Almost five children die everyday as a result of child abuse. More than three out of four are under the age of 4. -A report of child abuse is made every ten seconds in the US -90% of child sexual abuse victims know the perpetrator in some way; 68% are abused by family members. -Child abuse occurs at every socio-economic level, across ethnic and cultural line

Through a series of 50 interactive workshops, children, teens & adults will identify abuse, be able to protect themselves from abuse and report abuse. Parents will learn how to discipline in a healthy and nurturing manner, leading to a peaceful world.
