This project will equip four secondary schools in rural communities in Nigeria with digital and technological devices and skills, bridging the digital divide in underserved communities. By providing training and vital learning tools, we empower students with opportunities for education and future careers.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, only 3.5% of rural residents have computer access. In Nigeria, most rural schools lack digital tools, leaving students unprepared for careers and education. Many have never used a computer, widening the digital divide. This project will equip four rural schools with devices and training, ensuring students gain essential tech skills for a better future.
This project will provide four rural schools with laptops, a projector, a screen, and internet access. Students will receive hands-on digital training, helping them develop essential tech skills. Teachers will also be trained to ensure sustainable learning. Reliable power solutions, like fuel for generators, will support uninterrupted training. By equipping schools with technology and training, this project will bridge the digital divide and prepare students for future careers.
This project will equip students with lifelong digital skills, increasing their career and education opportunities. Trained teachers will continue educating future students, ensuring sustainability. As students gain tech knowledge, they can access better jobs, breaking the cycle of poverty. Over time, this will reduce the digital gap in rural Nigeria, empowering thousands. With more schools adopting digital learning, rural communities will become more competitive in the global economy.
