Greetings and gratitude from the Tech Skills&Jobs for 1000 Underserved Youth-Kenya project! We are thrilled to present you with an engaging update on our progress thus far. we extend our warmest welcome and appreciation for your interest in our program.

Our initiative aims to provide access to quality digital skills training for 1,000 young individuals from underprivileged backgrounds across four regions in Kenya. By focusing on empowering persons with disabilities, girls, and young women who often face discrimination and marginalization, we strive to bridge the gap in opportunities and empower these promising talents.

In Kenya, the challenge of youth unemployment looms large, with limited job prospects and formidable barriers to employment. These obstacles disproportionately affect those living in informal settlements and disadvantaged backgrounds, compounding the urgency of our mission. To address these pressing issues, we have developed a comprehensive digital skills training program that equips young people with the expertise needed to thrive in the digital economy.

Since the start of our journey in January 2023, remarkable progress has been made. We have successfully enrolled 383 students into the Digital Literacy Program across two batches. The first batch, consisting of 205 students, completed the program in June, and they now embark on diverse paths. From engaging in social innovation to securing employment as digital marketers, pursuing online work freelancing, venturing into entrepreneurship, or advancing to the Advanced Multimedia Program, their potential knows no bounds.

As we celebrate these achievements, we eagerly turn our attention to the 178 students who have recently embarked on their learning journey. These bright minds are diving deeper into areas such as Business Processing, Digital Marketing, Online Work, Entrepreneurship, and Social Innovation. We can hardly contain our excitement to witness their growth and the impact they will make.

However, we must address pivotal challenges that hinder our training initiatives. One of the foremost obstacles we face is the scarcity of well-equipped centers. Sadly, the majority of available facilities are dilapidated or equipped with outdated technology, impeding effective learning experiences. This issue demands our attention, and your support plays a crucial role in overcoming it.

We invite you to join us in our quest to provide young individuals with unparalleled access to high-quality training. By contributing, you will empower us to provide state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge equipment, arming these budding talents with the tools they need to thrive. Together, let us invest in quality education for all and collectively build a brighter future.

Your generosity will have a direct impact on the lives of 1,000 underserved youth, creating a ripple effect that will shape the next generation. The skills and knowledge they acquire through your support will pave the way for their success and enable them to contribute meaningfully to society. Together, we can make a lasting difference and inspire a better tomorrow for all.

We express our utmost gratitude for your unwavering support and commitment to our cause. Your belief in our program fuels our determination to achieve greater heights. It is an honor to have you as part of our dedicated community, and we deeply appreciate your contribution to empowering underserved youth in Kenya.
