Our annual summer tech camp was held for underserved youth who live in the socioeconomic periphery of Israel. These youth are part of our four year afterchool Net@ Technological Youth program which includes advanced tech training combined with social and personal development components.
The Net@ youth program has three main expertise tracks: Entrepreneurship, Youth training Youth & FixIt Lab ( a student run computer lab that provides computer repair for a subsidized cost to the community). Participants choose which expertise track they would like to focus on during their participation in the program.
This tech camp included introductory training and an overview of the three expertise program tracks. Simultaneously, an advanced training took place for older participants who hold managerial positions within the tracks. The training camp happened at a local youth village called Hakfar Hayarok location in the centre of Israel.
A total of 350 Net@ participants from across Israel (from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat) joined for the camp. Thank you for your support and for making this camp possible! T
