Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives Donor,
First and foremost, thank you! Your donations will continue to empower individuals and communities across Bauchi State, Nigeria, giving them the opportunity to form connections and address local issues using community resources. Donors’ contributions have allowed Leadership Initiatives and their students to carry out their mission of improving lives in Bauchi through supporting health initiatives and working to develop innovative solutions to problems facing the Nagari Medical Clinic and Maternity Ward. Isabel, Cydni, and Talia have been engaged in months of cultural immersion and have been building connections with community leaders to address imperative health issues that our communities in northern Nigeria are facing.
Team PH22177 has worked throughout the last seven months to create and develop a deep understanding of Eclampsia unique to the Inkil community.
Isabel, Cydni, and Talia have been working with Mubarak Ladan Babaji, a project coordinator in the field in the Inkil community. Through skype calls, the team has learned about the obstacles facing individuals that are dealing with Eclampsia. In January, Team PH22177 worked hard to create a public health proposal to address Eclampsia in Inkil community. Your support of team PH22177 interns and their hard work is crucial to the success of each team and solution.
For team PH22177’s final intervention, Isabel, Cydni, and Talia are preparing a community workshop to build individual and community capacity to address Eclampsia. By increasing health knowledge and self-sufficiency through a range of activities such as outreach, community education, informal counseling, social support, and advocacy, Isabel, Cydni, and Talia hope to prevent and lower the prevalence of Eclampsia in the Inkil community.
As a donor to this project, your support is a fantastic thing to have as we attempt to transform lives. Please consider participating in the upcoming Little by Little campaign GlobalGiving is hosting from April 3rd - April 7th, 2023.

Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives Supporters,
First and foremost, thank you! Your donations will continue to empower our team and communities across Bauchi State, Nigeria, giving us the opportunity to form connections and address local issues using community resources. Donors’ contributions have allowed our teams to carry out the mission of improving lives in Bauchi through supporting healthcare initiatives and working to create educational programs for its communities. Isabel, Cydni, and Talia have been engaged in months of cultural immersion and have been building connections with our partners in Nigeria to accomplish the goals of preventing and treating Women's Health issues in sub-Saharan Africa.
Isabel, Cydni, and Talia have been working with their project coordinator, Mubarak, to assess the current human rights violations surrounding Women's Health in the Inkil community. They have had multiple skype calls with their project coordinator to develop a relationship with them as well as go over vital information. Currently, Isabel, Cydni, and Talia are working hard to create a community survey that will give them important data surrounding their health issue. They will then use this data to design a community workshop which will be given in the Inkil community in the spring. This workshop will inform the residents of the community about Women's Health issues and how they can be improved. Now that Isabel, Cydni, and Talia are equipped with your support they are moving forward on the path of doing everything they can to raise awareness for Women's Health issues in Bauchi, Nigeria.
As a supporter of this project, Leadership Initiatives would love to have you involved if you ever want to help grow our programs, learn of ways you can participate, or have new ideas on how this team could best help work on their public health issue. Please contact Executive Director Marshall Bailly at email@example.com if you have any suggestions, questions, or comments! Your hard work and support is the greatest gift we could receive as we attempt to create a better world.
