Leadership Initiatives Students Changing Lives

By Marshall Bailly | Executive Director

Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives Supporter,

First and foremost, thank you! Your donations will continue to empower our team and communities across Bauchi State, Nigeria, giving us the opportunity to form connections and address local issues using community resources. Donors’ contributions have allowed our teams to carry out our mission of improving lives in Bauchi through supporting business initiatives and working to develop innovative solutions to their problems. Zih Jia, Madeleine, Camila, Fernando, and Thuc Anh have been engaged in months of cultural immersion and have been building connections with their business partner, Comfort, to accomplish the goal of fixing the imperative issues that their business is facing.

Zih Jia, Madeleine, Camila, Fernando, and Thuc Anh have been working hard throughout the fall semester to improve the life of Comfort. They have had the opportunity to have multiple skype calls with them where they got to form a connection with them and learn about their Salon business. They started off the year learning about advertising and have created a logo and business name for their business. Next, Zih Jia, Madeleine, Camila, Fernando, and Thuc Anh will work to learn about financial literacy and create a bookkeeping system for their business partner. Your support of them and their hard work is crucial to the success of the team and solution.

As a donor to this project, your support is an amazing thing to have as we attempt to transform lives. Everyone at Leadership Initiatives would love to have you more involved in our organization if you would ever want to help us grow our programs or learn more about ways that you can assist. Please contact Executive Director Marshall Bailly at mbailly@lichange.org if you have any suggestions, questions, or comments!

On behalf of everyone at Leadership Initiatives, thank you for everything that you have done. We all truly appreciate your donation and support for our organization. If you are interested in supporting Zih Jia, Madeleine, Camila, Fernando, and Thuc Anh, we have our upcoming Giving Tuesday fundraiser which will be on November 29th.

Wishing you the absolute best!

Sincerely,

Marshall Bailly
