Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives Donors,
Your donations will empower individuals and communities across Bauchi State, Nigeria, giving them the opportunity to form connections and address local issues using community resources. This will create a generation of leaders given the platform to encourage progress that starts at the local level but impacts many more. Contributions from donors give promising individuals access to entrepreneurial, leadership and project management training. These leaders then identify developmental obstacles within their communities, design practical solutions, and create sustainable business models to overcome those obstacles.
Our students create innovative solutions firmly grounded in principles of social entrepreneurship. We have worked with a multitude of businesses such as fish farming, tailoring, electronics, and auto-repair. Currently, this project will help local business owners as they strive to maximize the profit and impact of their business.
Our interns, Jules, Marie, and Sydney have partnered with Amos, the owner of a Tailoring business. These interns have been working with their business partners to learn about the issues hindering their business partner from growing their business. They have had multiple skype calls with their business partner to develop a relationship with them as well as go over vital business information. Currently, this team is working hard to come up with a bookkeeping/financial tracking solution for their business. Your encouragement of Jules, Marie, and Sydney and their project will truly help change lives across the globe, as this business not only provides crucial resources for the community, but also creates critical job opportunities in the area.
