To Our Leadership Initiatives’ Contributors,
Thank you again for your donation, they will go a long way towards empowering individuals and communities across Bauchi State, Nigeria. These contributions will unlock numerous opportunities for our business partner and allow them to address local issues with community resources. Our project is working to create a generation of leaders who will inspire progress starting from the local level, and expanding outward. With your donations, our business partners now have the opportunity to receive entrepreneurial, project management, and leadership training. These skills will allow them to identify developmental obstacles within their communities, design practical solutions, and create sustainable business models to overcome those obstacles.
As members of the IIP Team #1010, we will create innovative solutions firmly grounded in principles of social entrepreneurship. Other teams have previously created businesses in Bauchi, Nigeria businesses: fish farming, welding, tailoring, motorcycle repair & computer education with job placement. Currently, this project will help local business owners as they strive to maximize the profit and impact of their business.
Glen Ridge High School interns have partnered with Mercy, the owner of Mercy’s Hairdressing Salon, who works to make others feel beautiful. Currently, Team 1010 is working hard to help Mercy establish strong financial literacy skills. Your encouragement of the Glen Ridge High School interns and their project will truly help change lives across the globe, as this business not only provides crucial resources for the community but also creates critical job opportunities in the area.
As a supporter of this project, Leadership Initiatives would love to have you involved if you ever want to help grow our programs, learn of ways you can participate, or have new ideas on how this team could best help their business partner. Please contact Executive Director Marshall Bailly at mbailly@lichange.org if you have any suggestions, questions, or comments! Your hard work and support is the greatest gift we could receive as we attempt to create a better world.
Thank you once again from the bottom of everyone's heart here at Leadership Initiatives. If you would ever like to speak to our staff in Nigeria or this specific project leader, we would love to communicate with you so you can personally see the change you are creating. Wishing you, your family, and your friends the absolute best!
Sincerely,
Leadership Initiatives & Team #1010
