Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives Donor,
To start off, thank you! Because of your generous donations, we are able to continue giving the opportunity of connecting our interns with small business owners in Bauchi State, Nigeria. These interns work daily to design innovative solutions to address the problems facing their partner. As an organization, our mission is to transform the lives of those in Bauchi. This is supported directly through your donations, which allows us to provide small business owners with the tools to improve their business and grow an ecosystem of support in their community. Your support of these interns and their hard work is crucial to the success of each team and their fight to change the lives of their business partners.
Our interns have been working throughout the spring semester to develop a micro-grant proposal to address the issues they identified with their business partner and project coordinator. This micro-grant will be used to fulfill any material need that their business partner has. Each of these teams has spent time writing a detailed proposal, developing a budget, and coming up with innovative ways to monitor the progress of this proposal. This micro-grant will exponentially help each business by addressing specific pressing issues that they are facing. Once each proposal is approved and implemented by each business partner, they will increase profits and create a more successful business.
Throughout the past four months, our interns have had multiple skype calls with their business partners, where they have had the opportunity to gain information about the best application of micro-grant funds. They have used this data to work to finalize their micro-grant solution proposal before it is reviewed. In addition to helping their business, these interns have also created a strong relationship with their business partners.
We are so grateful for your support as we work daily to change lives.
