Talk to any informed radical football fanatic about tiki taka and the first football teams that would first click in his/her mind would be none other than Arsenal or Barcelona. The Arsenal style was put into practical by a group of youth football coaches during the 'Play The Arsenal Way' football training conducted by VAP.The five day football training that entailed both technical and tactical way included drills such as: ball possession, scoring, defending, attacking etc. The coaches who have their teams attached to VAP programs also got the training ignited by the inclusion of education and literacy through football as a bonus to the whole training package. The education and literacy programme is designed to provide a flexible framework, and can be adapted to suit any school’s timetable. No knowledge of football or of Arsenal is required to teach the resources or take part in the programme, and one doesn’t need to be an Arsenal fan. The 15 coaches representing various youth teams were awarded with ‘play the Arsenal way’ football coaching manuals and certificates.
