The construction work towards the realization of VAP’s Youth Empowerment Hub is still underway with the first floor being worked on.The building aims to reach at 4th floor with the  following:vocational training Centre, Youth friendly Health clinic, Gender Based Recovery block, Library, Research and Innovation unit, Common space, Volunteer accommodation, football pitch and a basketball court.

Youth program participants and the general community will have a pride place and an opportunity to meet:play,learn and grow together.As the centre is taking shape,VAP  is inviting interested partners:corporates,individuals and foundations for a partnership or branding opportunity  be it in-kind (building materials) or monetary.Interests should be directed to info@vijanaamanipamoja.org.https://www.facebook.com/VijanaAmaniPamoja/videos/youth-resource-centre/811337416938977/

VAP At AidEx Summit

The  7th annual AidEx summit was held in Nairobi as from 14-15th June hosted at safari park hotel.As the satelite event of AidEx in Geneva,the summit brought on board 400 representatives from humanitarian aid,disaster relief,and international development community.Attendees included senior decision-makers active in Africa,with significant participation from UN agencies,local and international NGOs,government,donors and private sector.The summit created an atmosphere of networking,sharing of best practices,knowledge sharing and learnings across organizations and summit attendees.
