A new group of 20 parents participated in Parental Training. This group has majority of children without accurate diagnosis. Parents guessed diagnosis by themselves after reading information in the Internet and comparing signs of autism with behavior of their children, though doctors still cannot place an official diagnosis. The Parental Training started on September 29 and finished on October 20, 2015. Half of the participating mothers took Training free. During the Training everybody has already begun to apply obtained knowledge in practice; and at every new meeting everybody would share successes and failures. Also, for a long time lots of parent without official autism diagnosis asked us if we could invite a expert children psychiatrist for consultation. We have invited a child psychiatrist from Moscow, Russia Dr. Elisey Osin. Among the children he observed and diagnosed 6 children received consultation free of charge. The consultations lasted for 2 hours and children received an official diagnosis. During the visit, Dr. Osin held 4 lectures for psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists on "Autism. Signs of autism. Types of autism. Related disorders ".
We also purchased 10 sets of materials to work with children. Young mothers have given the following course book, to systematicallyto work with their children with autism “A work in progress: Behavior Management Strategies and A Curriculum for intensive Behavioral Treatment of Autism”.
Thanks to helping during these 9 months to change lives of 24 families with children with autism. They have received invaluable help. You helped us to Train 24 parents who now can understand the behavior of their children, 24 children from 2 to 6 years started to develop their skills after correct teaching methods.
