Happy 2018! It has been a wonderful start to the year rolling out a diverse range of workshops geared toward food security, long term resilience and peacemaking.

We are currently focusing on further capacity building and training for both the farmers and project staff. This year our focus is primarily on expanding the teams and building our enterprise framework and working with the project staff on better management tools around enterprise, accountability and microfinance loans leaning toward fair distribtuion. We want to provide the key project staff the tools to enhance their enterprise development to its fullest maximum, leaning on long term development. We are working with a diverse group of experts to enhance this, from creating a business plan, strategy and marketing all of the products in the enterprise fold.

The Coffee Project has taken off and this year, we are expanding the farmer groups and will be launching a new coffee origin to compliment to already existing Rongo blend which has been a huge seller!

We are also currently in planning phase to work together with the Organic Farmers Market and the Museums of Kenya which we believe will bring more traction toward our movement and the organization as a whole which is very much needed. We are working toward developing our own permaculture model farms this year and look forward to enhancing our education programme within this context. We cannot wait to unfold the development around this in the next few weeks and months.
