There is energy and excitement at our partner schools as school resumed in Niger in October! Over 5,200 students will benefit from your generosity and support as they return to the classroom. An important part of the preparations for the coming school year included the 2024 Remember Niger Teacher Training, which took place in September.
Forty-eight teachers, school administrators, and other participants from partner schools received training in the areas of technology and student development. It was very well received by the teachers! The vast majority of the participants wrote in their evaluation that they would benefit from a longer training session. Several teachers wrote that they would like the training to be 30 days long, which we took as high praise! We plan to follow up the in-person event with several one-day training sessions at each school during the year.
