During this last few months, the children have enjoyed additional playground equipment provided by GlobalGiving donations and supplements to the feeding program. For the families having the most difficulty providing food for their children, your donations helped to provide extra food boxes for feeding outside of school hours. Much of the food box contents consisted of locally grown and sourced fruits and vegetables as well as eggs and limited meats. Lessons on hygiene were supplemented with tooth brushes, toothpaste, and other hygiene supplies provided by your donations. Some funds were used to repair the homes of children that were damaged by a hurricane. The new medical clinic was opened to the entire village and all residents received free treatment and medication. The children and their families send you their thanks and appreciative love.
